When we purchased the property that was to become 181 Fremont, the Transit Center was still in the planning stages and the height limit for this property was capped at 350 feet.As plans for the Transit Center moved forward, we assumed that the city would need to increase height limits to generate enough capital to fund other neighborhood public improvements. It turns out we were right, as we ended up with entitlements for a 700-foot tower.
